Just out of curiosity, where did you read this?
i didn`t read it anywhere
someone with ALOT of linux experience told me that a few weeks ago.
Also out of curiosity, how much time do you think you will save?
a few seconds at most.

I'd thought of that as well, but didn't mention it. It could be that certain
services that are enabled, are needing to load specific modules. I've seen
that there are many services started as default with a Fedora install that
arn't needed, at least as far as I am concerned. As an example, the rpc
stuff.
