It works if you use an older version of xorg-x11-server-Xorg package, for example this one: xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.2.0-6.fc7.i386.rpm. It crashes if you use Fedora's default package. Then you have to blacklist this package in yum to avoid unwanted upgrades (just add "exclude=xorg-x11-server-Xorg" in /etc/yum.conf). Hope this helps. OK, so does the latest ati driver work with current Fc7? I think I heard/read that it now installs and gets past the xorg-server versioning problem it had before, but it crashes or has an error that are awaiting ati to fix/put out another version (end of the month)? Just trying to get a status before I finally try to install/configure it again. -- Mike Chambers Madisonville, KY "Best little town on Earth!" -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
