Will try another CDROM, and see what happens. Thanks, Tom > Solved: Turned out the FC5 install#1 went kaput. I put in a FC4 install #1 and it booted to it. I put the FC5 install #1 in, and it tried, but then went to the hard drive boot. Will now see if I can get a set of FC7 CDs. Tom
