When you update your system via "Add/Remove Programs" in F7, when addingprograms, the installation archives are downloaded and then installed.


To where on the filesystem are they downloaded prior to installation?

I've checked /tmp and /var/spool and haven't found anywhere that's likely.

Are the installation archives automatically deleted after installation?
