I have two sets of kernels (they're two versions of Fedora). When a new
kernel is installed, the running kernel entry is automatically used as a
template for the new kernel. I don't have to do anything by hand (except
during an upgrade, when Anaconda blows away all the "old" kernels and I
have to restore from backup).
