Opposite to my likes.  Personally, I've found the best option is a high
screen resolution, enough that I don't have one window hiding another
window, that I can either fit them side by side, or have a large area
overlapping to click on.

About the only thing I don't like about click to focus is when you have
windows that don't have a blank do-nothing area.  e.g. It's a pain
clicking on a browser window to bring it forward, only to find that
you've clicked on a hidden link.
