booting ipw3945d

Hi,

ipw3945d is not starting in the boot process on fc6.  lsmod shows 
ipw3945 loaded.  I can start ipw3945d manually and wireless works.  
Where is the proper place in the boot process to insert the ipw3945d 
command.  Thanks.
