There's not much of them that are needed if you enabled ATrpms and installed the drivers as you have done. The main thing to do is to enable the regulatory daemon to start, either a)via modprobe, b) in rc.local, or c) as a service. I've used option c now for a while along with Axel's packages and it's working great on the FC6 laptop. I used the init script from another repo: http://svn.rpmforge.net/svn/trunk/rpms/ipw3945d/ipw3945d.init Download that and install it in /etc/init.d as root: # install -m0755 ipw3945d.init /etc/init.d/ipw3945d # chkconfig --add ipw3945d Restart your system and the daemon should start at the right time. The errors you're getting look like the sort of thing I got a few times when I compiled the drivers manually against one version of ieee80211 and then tried to run it with another version. Using the ATrpms packages, that shouldn't happen. -- Todd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xBEAF0CE3 | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are three ways to get something done: do it yourself, hire someone, or forbid your kids to do it. -- Monta Crane
