NetworkManager-vpnc

Hello Everyone,

I installed NetworkManager-vpnc earlier today. It wasn't working at
first - NetworkManager would crash as soon as I started the VPN
connection. Eventually I fixed that by changing selinux to permissive
mode. Now the VPN connection is working.

The problem though is that NetworkManager overwrites /etc/resolv.conf,
replacing the local nameserver with the remote one. I then can't browse
the Internet or get to any of my local servers, unless I use IPs.

I tried the Cisco Windows VPN client, and from there I'm still able to
browse the Internet, though I can't ping any local devices by name.

I must be missing something. How can I use NetworkManager-vpnc, and
browse the net at the same time (without manually
editing /etc/resolv.conf, which I shouldn't have to considering the
goals of NetworkManager)?

Regards,

Ranbir
