Fedora, Java and JPEGImageWriter

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

    Dear friends,

Using Fedora's native Java Runtime Evironment, Eclipse reports the
use of class JPEGImageWriter as an error (unresolved). According to
some documentation, this class can only run under Sun's Java Runtime
Environment, not under "GNU Classpath based VMs".

Is there a way to use JPEGImageWriter with Fedora's native JRE?

One reason why I would prefer to use Fedora's native JRE is that
Sun's JRE 6 makes Eclipse frequently crash in Fedora - any ideas how
to fix that?

 Thank you!

    Take care
    Oliver
