Hi there,

Have you tried upgrading to a newer version? Because I'm working here
with vlc-0.8.6b-1.lvn6 on FC6. And I really don't have this issue. Also
you know for sure your audio drivers are working correctly? I assume
so because XMMS does not have this problem.
