If you do a CTL-alt-F1 and log in as root. And then run system-config-display you don't see the higher resolution as a choice? On the other hand if the machine is running at a higher resolution and you are happy with that resolution why do anything? -- ======================================================================= The trouble with doing something right the first time is that nobody appreciates how difficult it was. ======================================================================= Aaron Konstam telephone: (210) 656-0355 e-mail: akonstam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
