Hi, Have you modified the file /etc/shells ? you should check that there is no empty line or no new line at the end of this file, these cause system-config-users to hang-up. Removing the last empty line, solved the problem for me. I encoutered this problem (if it's the same) which is already reported in bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=209127 This problem affect at least RHEL3 and 4, Fedora 5 and 6. Hey everyone, I have a machine running fc6 and I haven't touched it for awhile. It was originally my desktop but I've set it up to be a LAMP machine as well. I was trying to add a user today using system-config-users, but it never comes up. I tried opening a terminal to see if there was any output, but it just hangs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
