Did it:

Reading repository metadata in from local files
Parsing package install arguments
Nothing to do

I try to, but it is not easy sometimes: how can I install xetex? tetex
is now outdated.... and fedora did not take this into account!

my question was: what is freetype2? is it different from freetype-2
installed on fc6?

Why am I unable to compile xdvipdfmx needed by xetex?

Thanks anyway
