Is the full error more like....
hdd: drive not ready for command
hdd: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete
DataRequest }
????
Good idea to post full errors than partial ones as it leaves less room for
guess work.
The errors you are seeing, are they when you use media created on other
drives? When you used the drive in FC5 was it in the same system or did you
move the drive to a different system? Did you re-seat cables or change
cables to see if the problem moves?
