mptscsih attempting task abort

Hello,

my server has started to occassionally misbehave since the kernel upgrade to kernel-2.6.19-1.2911.fc6.i586.rpm (iirc). It has 4 SCSI disks in total, 3 of them are running in a software RAID5 configuration. The kernel produces now and then following messages:

mptscsih: ioc0: attempting task abort! (sc=d674b200)
sd 0:0:3:0:
        command: Read(10): 28 00 01 0d 0f b1 00 00 80 00

mptscsih: ioc0: attempting task abort! (sc=d8861080)
sd 0:0:2:0:
        command: Write(10): 2a 00 11 17 5d f3 00 00 08 00

        command: Write(10): 2a 00 11 17 5d f3 00 00 08 00
mptbase: ioc0: IOCStatus(0x004a): SCSI Task Management Failed
mptscsih: ioc0: task abort: FAILED (sc=e1a7e080)

mptscsih: ioc0: task abort: SUCCESS (sc=e5042680)
mptscsih: ioc0: attempting task abort! (sc=e5042680)
sd 0:0:0:0:
        command: Test Unit Ready: 00 00 00 00 00 00
mptbase: ioc0: IOCStatus(0x0048): SCSI Task Terminated

and so on. These errors appear to be triggered by a disk activity, eg. rsync process. Now, I am not 100% positive it is purely software problem but when I downgraded to older kernel releases, the errors appeared to be gone. Since the errors are not entirely predictable, I cannot be sure.

Has anybody else seen something similar? What kind of information would be needed to debug it properly and establish the underlying cause of this problem?
