Here's one work-around (from Paul Howarth's Java Howto[1]) $ (echo config gpgcheck 0; echo localinstall your*.rpm; echo run) > yum-cmd $ sudo yum shell yum-cmd Another way to solve this would be to sign the packages with a local key that you've created and imported into the rpm db.
