Has anybody an idea how to setup dual monitor setup with both laptop screen and also external lcd screen (1280x1024) on my IBM R52? I tried gnome-config-display but that doesn't work and it breaks my xorg.conf so both my laptop and my screen boot with 800x600 resolution! If I leave external LCD connected then laptop boots into 800x600 resolution which sucks. Thank you in advance.
