Well I thought I had it taken care of but an hour after I added the entry exclude=openoffice* to my yum.conf file and had removed the FC version and installed the OOo version yum installed the FC again over the top of the other one. This time after removing the FC version for the third time and installing the OOo version for the third time, I rebooted the box.
