So that would be one of the iso's that I probably have already downloaded?  *bangs head*  That will allow me to boot from the rescue cd and say make a change to my grub.conf file?

    You can use the Fedora distributed rescue disc for that.  You don't
have to make one yourself.  I suggest you make regular backups of your
system's critical files.  Then when you find yourself in a bind, boot
off of the rescue disc and pull your backup files back in.
