Yours never says:-
debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT sent
I just tried copying identity.pub (an RSA1 key generated using
"ssh-keygen -t rsa1") over my id_rsa file and the error messages in
the debug output disappear. The login doesn't work of course because
the key is wrong.
