Hi, I installed Fedora 6 and noticed that the directory /root (home of root) has the default permissions r+x set for group and world. Can someone enlighten me why this is the case, isn't it best by default to have it no permissiosn for group and world? I mean shouldn't /root have "just" the rwx permissions set for owner and for group and world permissions only enabled by root if it needs to be? Thanks Shams
