Many of the problems are: (1) Major configuration changes, these are not simple and effect all parameters. (2) Bugs with freshclam (sometimes crashing for no apparent reason) effecting the database updates. (3) Changes in the parameters accepted by clamav-milter from the command line. Today, version 0.90.1 was released to fix many of the reported problems.
