Thanks. I had a look at Smolt. It's interesting!

But I would really be interested in knowing what graphic cards all of you guys are using. I would like to know which ones are definitely working without any problems with 3d acceleration. Do all of them require editing the xorg.conf file? or do some work straight out of the box?

And if you are using a webcam, which brand is it? I would think that there are only a few that work.

Also, I'm planning on using touch screens with all the computers. I guess I'm what you'd call a newbie to this... I was reading something about Elotouch Technology. Do all touch screens work assuming you have the correct drivers? I noticed there were specific ones for WIN/Mac/Linux...

Once again, any comments would be greatly appreciated~

Thanks again!

For 3D acceleration with nvidia you will need the proprietary driver.
