Dear All OpenOffice Calc does not apparently have a tool similar to MS Excel's solver. The solver of Gnumeric is limited only to Linear Programming problems; it is not able to deal with non-linear problems. Is there some tool for Linux to replace MS Excel's solver? Or has one to boot in MS Windows to solve non-linear optimization problems? Thanks in advance, Paul
