I haven't done an update, mine was a fresh install, but the first thing that springs to mind is: Are you using a font that's provided with FC6? I suppose you could have been set to use some other font, and it's trying to use what it thinks is an equivelent, but doesn't quite fit the task. -- (This box runs FC5, my others run FC4 & FC6, in case that's important to the thread.)
