A few details. 0) its bcm43xx, not bcw43xx 1) I did an lsmod and bcm43xx was there again, so I removed it with modprobe -r this time. 2) I think this all started with the installation of a new kernel this morning. uname -a Linux xxxx 2.6.19-1.2911.fc6PAE #1 SMP Sat Feb 10 15:16:17 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux I had no issues prior to today that I can remember. 3) I had the Wireless Assistant applet running in my taskbar. I removed that and it seems to not lock up anymore. I'll keep an eye on it to see what happens. I'd still like to know what didn't get removed with rpm -e for bcm43xx. -- Kim Lux, Diesel Research Inc.
