Hi Tod, from network or CD, yes, another other hard drive not quite since I don't
have more disks to use in this case. I wouldn't mind using any distro that would have correct
drivers loaded at boot installation time. When this type of problems happen I usually use debian
netinstall cd images that have the drivers I need, but in this case I haven't found one, maybe I'll do one,
but as I said it seems the drivers are outdated.
I'm already using vmware for functionality testing purposes. After my first post I was able to install FC6 on VMware.
I used LSI Logic instead of Bus Logic for the scsi hard drive on VMware and it worked.
And i'm pretty sure that Fedora Core is detecting the raid0 hard drive, the problem is that when the installer gets to the partitioning fase it says "would like to initialize your hard disk"? So I'm guessing if I say yes I will loose the windows XP partition, which I don't wan't to do.
I have used dual boot system's for the past 7 years with no problem. I never had that type of problems.

Hi Orlando!
I hope they do as well.
Other things to consider:
- Would it be good to boot linux from CD, network, or another HD? All
are possible.
- Do you need a dual enviornment - possible through Vmware and others?
- Would it be better to add another machine to the mix? I do believe
it would be simpler and probably more secure/reliable.
Mixing the Microsoft and Linux enviornments can create a lot of
problems. For example, lets say you use the supplied GRUB bootloader
as your operating system selection tool. Some Microsoft security
enviornments will check the Master Boot Record, see that it is not
thiers, and correct that for you probably in a way which does not
immediately enable a path to Linux.
Good Hunting (and much Patience),
Tod
