This works for all system mail directed to root. If, however, you have cron jobs that run as user, and you need them reported to you as admin, you need to change the crontab for the individual. The way to do this is described in the two manpages crontab(1) and crontab(8). You need to enter MAILTO=root close to the top, before the details of the cron jobs. HTH Anne
