If we believe that FAQ site, Imation is selling discs made by someone else with not much regard for quality. I'm not too surprised, when we used their products in video production, their S-VHS tapes were crap, but their VHS tapes were the best we could find. I've come to think poorly of their quality control. I've found Verbatim to the best the best, but remember that's what works well with my drives (Samsung and LG). You may find that something else works best with yours, whether that be just down to drive/disc compatibilities, or the overall quality of your drive. Also, some drives need firmware updates for newer media. -- (Currently testing FC5, but still running FC4, if that's important.) Don't send private replies to my address, the mailbox is ignored.
