Just run "lspci | grep -i net" and it'll show you what's in the
PCI bus (and motherboard), e.g. (from my laptop):

[root@golem2 ~]# lspci | grep -i net
03:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One
54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
03:06.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
