Matt: There were several directories for fedora and freshrpms along with livna and planetccrma. I didn't experience any conflicts with the yum, until I tried to install fluidsynth, and ran into a fedora extras file that overrode my effort to install a file from planetccrma. I ended up deleting the fedora directories and freshrpms directories, rather than simply renaming them. So, now I need to replace those directories, right?
# nano /etc/yum.conf
[root@localhost ~]# cd /etc/yum.repos.d
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# ls
livna-devel.repo livna.repo livna-testing.repo planetccrma.repo
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# cd /var/cache/yum
[root@localhost yum]# ls
livna planetccrma planetcore planetextras

Do you have the fedora and freshrpms directories listed in /etc/yum.repos.d and /var/cache/yum directories?
Thanks, Tom
