If one really means to keep it within the thread, then OK. Still don't know why one would want to change the subject and still consider it the same thread. Seems a bit illogical...but then again that's just me. But, you need not have a client that allows you to adjust the headers. All you need to use is the "forward" function and not the "reply" function.
