My Aspire 5500Z has the Intel 915. When I first installed Linux on it, I needed to use the 915 resolution hack to get the full 1280x800 resolution but that may no longer be necessary. For the rest, the installation was a breeze and I am quite happy with it. Its 1.7 GHz Pentium M is about twice as fast as the 2.4 GHz Pentium IV in my desktop box. -- Colin Brace Amsterdam
