Thank you, for this information.
It is just for one machine, so I shall download the rescue iso.
I don't need big programs like ooo kde and so on,
just small ones, like fluxbox, mplayer and some others.

Instead of downloading the rescue CD (unless you actually want to keep
that around for later) you could download the boot.iso image from the
release and go from there.  This file is just 8M compared to the 85M
for the rescue CD.
