As mentioned - I am new to Linux and I not going to give up this time.

How do I switch my kernel to a non-xen version? I´ve just started playing with fedore and I´m learning all the way.

That means kernel-headers are installed.

Does vmware compile now? If not go ahead and install the source of the
kernel:
