If a package doesn't rely on very recent libraries, then you may be able
to use an fc5 package on fc6 {etc}
# yum localinstall xyz
and see if it is complaining.
if not is there a list of all the packages that where left out of FC6
but in
FC5?
I think that would be in the fc6 release notes.
