Kevin, You mentioned you are using FC5. I had the same problem in FC6. I hope the fix is the same. By default, Konq only shows previews of images that are 1 Mb or less. Open a directory of images. Go to the Settings menu, Configure Konqueror... Click on Previews & Meta-Data. Change the Maximum file size to something that will accommodate your digital camera's capabilities. Also, if you would like to see a larger preview when you mouseover your image icons, go to Settings menu, Configure Konqueror, Behavior, and select Show file tips and Show previews in file tips.
