Ok - I don't see Hyper-Threading.
However, I've done this in grub.conf:
apci=off noapic
I'm now burning it in to see when it will crash, if at all.

Try enabling hyperthreading in the bios and or with hyperthreading
disbled in the bios boot with "apci=off" as a kernel parameter.
