I was happily running Skype in FC5. But after FC6 upgrade microphone is not working. I am using an Intel ICH5 card. When I open alsamixer in a terminal I don't have the slider for microphone in capture screen, that is existing in the graphic screens. What other application may I use to test microphone??? I installed audacity but when I start it I get an error stating that there was an error during initialization of i/o. Are these two issues connected??? -- Antonio Montagnani Skype : antoniomontag
