For the record, I had the same livna problems that Tom describes when I used livna to install the fglrx driver for my X1400 card on my x86_64 system but I don't have the hanging problem. charlie On 11/20/06, Tom Horsley <tomhorsley@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:

Check out http://bugzilla.livna.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1269 all the stuff that the ati-fglrx-config-display python script is supposed to do, doesn't happen. If you read the script and do the work by hand, you can get it to work, but on my system, I then run into this bug: http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=37 (at least on x86_64), and the system hard hangs when I exit the X server (though I haven't tried the 8.31.5 - maybe it is better, but I have the open source radeon driver working well for me now, so I'm not sure I want to venture back into fglrx land :-). -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
