But if you are compiling a new dvd or cd you may get error like was not able to allocate memory. this problem relates to the growisofs. Newer kernel doesnt allow it to acquire low level memory I suppose. Fix is go to Settings: configure k3b: Programs: User parameters: and put the following parameter against growisofs -use-the-force-luke=bufsize:16m This works for me -- Thanx Pritam Ghanghas
