Seems like quite a lot is working.
One thing I noticed is that your iwconfig shows up as "restricted", mine
shows up as open. Maybe try
iwconfig eth1 key open
iwconfig eth1 key xxxxxxxxxxxxx
also
iwconfig eth1 ap xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
where xx:xx... is your access point MAC address
If nothing is helping I would start wondering about encryption being the
problem, and temporarily disable it at the AP and with
iwconfig eth1 key off
