Hi Eric, The problem solved by installing the gnome-power-manager package which requires dbus-x11 package as it dependency. I would assume that the missing dbus-x11 causes the errors. During the installation process, I intentionally unselected the gnome-power-manager package (as what I've done before with FC5). I wonder why is that the dbus-x11 packages does not being put as dependencies for gnome in the first place...during the installation. I even tried to install the power-manager package using yum but during the first few days of FC6 release, yum does not resolved the dbus-x11 package as its dependency...but then..later...I'm not sure of the exact time...when I tried to install the power-manager..yum resolved dbus-x11 as its dependency... and the errors gone!
