Hello,

I have seen several posts on how to successfully install VMware server in FC6. It aborts during the installation and I can remember someone stating something about going into such and such folder and changing a line in a text file. Problem is that I don't remember what changes I need to make. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

and
yum install xinetd

Hello,

I went to the site above, but I am still not sure what file needs to be reconfigured. The responses at the above link were not very clear. What file do I need to change (or reconfigure) in order to complete the install of VMware server?
Jeff

Hi,

I think vmware-any-any-update would solve your problem (http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/).
I was successful in installing VMwareServer in FC6.
