Your problem isn't FC5 to FC6 but squid 2.5 to squid 2.6. The http
acceleration configuration options were changed significently, and
actually somewhat simplified.

any idea what shall I do to set up a transparent proxy??? I do not
finf these options any longer...
httpd_accel_single_host off
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header on
