Very strange. Every time I bring up the distributed FF, it spawns several instances of acroread and then freezes. I am now using FF 2.0 from a tarball release. Same defaults and configuration files but no problems.
Acroread didn't work for me after install of FC6. Maybe something to do with: http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=133548&highlight=acroread quote: 8) installed acroreader from adobe's website (note to get it working one must edit /usr/bin/acroread and change the line echo $mfile| sed 's/libgtk-x11-\([0-9]*\).0.so.0.\([0-9]\)00.\([0-9]*\)\|\(.*\)/\1\2\3/g' to echo $mfile| sed 's/libgtk-x11-\([0-9]*\).0.so.0.\([0-9]*\)00.\([0-9]*\)\|\(.*\)/\1\2\3/g' ) did solve it.
