Nope..no crashes. Also, I did a brand new install of FC6 and it does it there too. I tried all of these but still it will not load from the menu. What does ctrl-alt-backspace do?? Did you have a crash at some time while using konq in super-user mode? I'd try deleting /tmp/ksocket-root and /tmp/kde-root (as root, of course) then ctrl-alt-backspace. Anne
