I have the same problem here. My motherboard has 2 RS232 ports, and I have a Lava PCI Quattro which provides another 4 ports. With FC5 I had 6 serial ports in /dev (I didn't use the kernel parameter you mention - it just automatically worked with all 6 ports). With FC6 I only have 4 ports in /dev. > Now with FC6 (the Xen kernel anyway), I get an error claiming > that is an unrecognized option, and I only see 4 uarts in /dev. I am using the regular non-xen kernel (2.6.18-1.2798.fc6, i686 version).
