-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, Just did a fresh install of FC6 on a couple of laptop (HP nx9600 + Acer TravelMate 2403) and I am glad to report that everything went smoothly. I dutifully backed-up the interesting $HOMEDIR content and am now trying to get GnuPG to work properly on the nx9600. I restored my ~/.gnupg directory from the previous install and now use Thunderbird 1.5.07 and Enigmail 0.94.1 The Enigmail key management gui show the available keys and the gpg cli shows the proper keys/keypair too. Running some tests I now get the following error message when trying to decrypt a message from an originator for whom I have the public key > Error - secret key needed to decrypt message > > gpg command line and output: > /sw/bin/gpg --charset utf8 --batch --no-tty --status-fd 2 -d --passphrase-fd 0 --no-use-agent > gpg: encrypted with ELG-E key, ID 8EE498F4 > gpg: decryption failed: secret key not available I have used the power of google but find mostly howtos in the quick-start-guide style, not the migration or recovery theme. Any pointer would be greatly appreciated Thierry - -- (o< Thierry Sayegh de Bellis, RHCE //\ http://glossolalie.com V_/_ Fingerprint: F565 3D05 A01F 9948 E4F4 32EA 2C2D 7CB6 6D57 1FD6 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD8DBQFFP8M4LC18tm1XH9YRAg/HAKCoDUG86FqLM+2H68jdWoTBhOKQuQCgjyyW T6nU0fFinKRAv7vBQqqfhM0= =JuRA -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
